Fun around our house!

Sophia is sitting up on her own for a few minutes at a time. She is also sooo close to crawling! Any minute now and I will have two that I will have to be looking out for as I walk through the house!

Our neighbor let Emma sit in the front seat of the cop car. She loved it and thought that it was to cool. Her favorite part was hitting the lights and playing with the hand cuffs!

Nana came down Wednesday night to help with the rug rats while I had some minor out patient surgery. Things went well, there were a few things that they weren't able to do, but hopefully I should be feeling like my old self in a week.

Emma now knows the whole song of "The wheels on the bus!" She can sing most of the words and knows all the motions!

When Nana came down she brought several play outfits and shoes. Emma has been in heaven trying all the different things on!

Waggoner Summer Fun!

The Waggoner family has been very busy this summer with several trips home, to Kentucky, and an upcoming trip to Georgia for Jonathan's Army Graduation. We have all become very good at packing at the last minute, sleeping in the truck, and adapting to whatever it is that comes our way. We have all made some wonderful friends and experienced amazing things this summer. I only hope that this continues throughout the year!

Zachary is staying busy at work as always. He put on TSgt on July 1st and we are all so very proud of him and all that he has been able to accomplish in his 8 years in the Air Force! He is hoping to get some more schooling and training under his belt in the near future!

Emma is growing like a weed. Picking up new words and phrases daily. Her new favorite is "What you do mommy?" I love to hear her little voice! She even picked up Zach's name after our last trip to GA to see Jonathan. If he doesn't answer immediately, she will yell "Zach!" Daddy isn't to thrilled about this, but I think it is funny! She loves our daily craft time and begs to color or paint. Maybe she will become some famous, rich painter!

Sophia is growing so fast. She has mastered rolling over, can sit up for a few minutes by herself, and is soooo close to crawling. She is also teething (which is killing mommy and daddy's soul to hear her cry like that and not be able to do anything to make her happy!) She loves to watch Emma run around the living room like a tornado and giggle. She is such a happy baby, just like her big sis!

I have been busy keeping with with the girls doctors appointments, dentist appointments (can you believe that they want kids to start going to the dentist as young as 18 months?!?!) play groups, drop off day care, and all our arts and crafts time at home! Zachary and I have decided to wait until the girls are in school for me to go back to school. The GI Bill that we thought was coming out in August had some major changes that would not work out with our schedule. But trust me, I am busy enough with these two running around! I will be having surgery on Thursday August 20th. I have Polycystic Ovary Disorder and have felt like crap since having Sophia. The disorder can cause tiredness, weight gain, and moodiness....check to all three! So, Mom will be coming down Wednesday to help with the girls and stay until Sunday morning, when she will head back to Indy. Lets hope it all works out and I start to feel human again.

So that is what the Waggs have been up to this summer! Take care and we would love to hear from all of you and see how your summer has been! Feel free to E-mail us at Sweetpea1877@hotmail.com

Summer Fun Part 4

With all this hot and humid and rainy weather, we have to snag whatever time we can outside before it gets to nasty, which usually means playing outside at 7:00 in the morning. But we will take what we can get!

Sophia enjoys her swing more than anything and Emma has rediscovered her Jeep. She loves driving it around the back yard chasing Bailey, but has yet to figure out how to put it in reverse and often ends up hitting the fence while still pushing the gas!

Sophia has graduated to a big girl high chair for feeding and while Emma puts in some serious color time!

Emma loves her baby dolls. Her newest thing is to change her baby's diaper several THOUSAND times a day. Even had a neighbor watch her the other day and Stephanie was worn out by the time we got home from changing "EWAS." (Poopy diapers)

I walked into Emma's play room the other day to check on her (she was wayyyyy to quiet!) And I caught her in her doll's bed reading! She truly is my daughter! (Notice that we have several Elmo's thanks to Nana and Aunt Katie....we don't need anymore!)

Summer Fun Part 3

We were lucky enough to go and spend Jonathan's family weekend with him. He completed his 9 weeks of boot camp and was given a weekend pass in between his boot camp and the start of his AIT training. He is doing very well and we can't wait to see him in just 4 more weeks!

Emma decided to use Pops feet as her paper!

Ma and the girls kept busy with coloring books!

Out to dinner!

Seeing Jonathan for the first time in 9 weeks! He looked great!

Summer Fun Part 1

We were able to go down to Lake Cumberland at the end of July and spend some time with both Zach's parents and Anna's parents along with Danessa and Katie. We had an amazing week and were able to go out on the Jet Ski and Pontoon boat. Emma did very well out on the water and Enjoyed herself VERY MUCH!
